Jon Bon Jovi Confirms He’s Back in Top Form After Vocal Surgery: “I’ve Got My Voice Again”
Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has delivered the update fans have been waiting for and it’s music to everyone’s ears. Speaking at a recent event, the 62-year-old frontman revealed that after months of recovery from a delicate vocal cord procedure, he’s finally feeling like himself again.
> “I’ve got my voice back,” Bon Jovi said with a smile. “The surgery was tough, and the rehab was even tougher, but I’m ready to sing the songs people love the way they’re meant to be sung.”
The Livin’ on a Prayer hitmaker first opened up about struggling with his vocals last year, explaining that a long-standing issue with one of his vocal cords was affecting his range and stamina onstage. In 2024, he underwent corrective surgery a move that left fans both concerned and hopeful for a triumphant return.
According to Bon Jovi, the recovery wasn’t instant. “It takes patience. You have to relearn how to use your instrument,” he said. “There were moments I wondered if I’d ever sound like me again, but my team and my family kept encouraging me.”

While the rocker hasn’t confirmed dates, he teased that “big plans are in motion,” sparking speculation of a 2026 global tour. For die-hard fans who feared that one of music’s most enduring voices might be lost, the news couldn’t be sweeter.
“Being on stage is where I belong,” Bon Jovi added. “I’m grateful for every person who sent prayers and love while I healed. Now I can’t wait to give it back louder than ever.”
