Gu Changge, also known as “Mr. Gu”, is the main character of The Villain of Destiny with magic martial arts. His goal is to marry the lord’s daughter, Su Qingge.
The character “gu” means “demon” or “ghost”. And this is exactly what gu changge is used for. This form of martial arts was developed by the Shaolin monks to protect them from evil spirits. It is said that the monks would use their hands and feet to attack the demons. They would then use their bodies to block the demon’s attacks.
Gu Changge later ascended to the throne of the Lord Taixuan Palace.
