Music legend Ringo Starr is expressing heartfelt gratitude after his daughter, Lee Starkey, successfully recovered from a recent surgery that had fans around the world sending their love and support.
The 84-year-old former Beatles drummer took to social media this morning to share the good news with fans, posting a photo of himself holding Lee’s hand in her hospital room with a joyful caption:
“Peace and love, everyone. I’m happy to say my beautiful daughter Lee is out of surgery and recovering well. It’s been a tough few weeks, but your prayers and kind messages meant the world to us. Thank you. Peace and love forever. ✌️❤️”
While Ringo didn’t disclose details of the medical procedure, a close family source confirmed that the surgery was planned and successful, and that Lee — who previously battled and beat a brain tumor in the 1990s — is now resting comfortably and surrounded by family.
