HIGH DEMANDS: MAFS Groom Slammed Over ‘Misogynistic’ Post After Revealing ‘High Standards’ for Future Girlfriend

A Married at First Sight Australia groom has set social media on fire after posting a now-viral list of “high standards” he expects from his next girlfriend just weeks after his bitter split on the show.

While he may be single again, fans aren’t exactly lining up. Instead, many are dragging him for what they’ve branded a “misogynistic” and “unrealistic” checklist that reads more like a job application than a romantic wishlist.

> “I know what I bring to the table,” the groom wrote confidently, before launching into a long list that included: being “naturally beautiful without makeup,” knowing how to cook “at least five healthy meals,” never raising her voice, and “not being obsessed with social media.”

The post didn’t take long to make the rounds on Instagram and TikTok, and neither did the backlash. Critics say the list reeks of outdated gender roles and double standards, especially coming from someone who struggled to make things work during the experiment.

> “Imagine listing all this like you’re God’s gift while being single on national TV,” one fan wrote.

“So women need to be quiet, cook, natural, and invisible online? Boy, bye,” another fired.

Some supporters defended the groom, saying he’s simply outlining his values after a tough breakup, but even they admitted the tone came off “arrogant” and “demanding.”

The groom has since edited the caption, removing some of the more controversial lines and claiming his words were “taken out of context.” Still, the damage is done and so is the internet’s patience.

This isn’t the first time a MAFS cast member has sparked outrage post-show, but fans are calling this one of the most “tone-deaf” rants yet.

With Season drama still fresh, it looks like this groom’s love life and ego are still very much under public review.
