At this point, it’s unclear what will happen to Dariush in Blood-Ink Chapter 116, but his life might be in more danger than ever before. I’m sick of being alone, Dariush said, caressing the black cover of the book he was holding. You’ve helped me so much. I don’t think I can go on without you anymore. Dariush looked at the book; it was an old friend, but it had become his enemy too. When will you return my soul? he said to the book, now with tears in his eyes as he opened it and started to read from where he left off.

In summary, In the Republic of Terragua, being an assassin is not only legal, but quite profitable if you play your cards right. It’s as simple as accepting a Blood-Ink, taking out the target, and getting paid. As long as you follow the rules and pay your taxes on time, there shouldn’t be any problem at all. Blood-Ink Chapter 116: What Will Happen Next
Darius won’t make it through the night if he admits to killing Jen or Maria. When he wakes up, he’ll have to come clean to his friends about his involvement in their deaths. This is not an easy conversation for anyone involved, but Darius feels like he has no choice. He can’t go on living a lie and pretending that everything’s okay. It’s too hard on him and it’s hurting people around him. Everyone at the party is upset with Darius and they don’t want to believe him.
They all think it’s too much of a coincidence that Jen was killed by someone from the group who also happened to share her last name. It makes sense that Jennifer wasn’t telling the truth when she said she didn’t know who killed Jen. Maybe she just doesn’t know why? Or maybe she knows exactly what happened to her sister, but doesn’t want to admit it out loud. Either way, no one believes Darius anymore–not even Fyndii, who found the body and first suspected me! I need to stay strong and keep trying!

The person inside stared at him through the glass window next to the door and then quickly disappeared back into the shadows of their house.
Dariush heard muffled yelling and then footsteps coming toward him. The door opened and an old woman looked out at him. She shook her head as if she had just seen something that defied her understanding and said, We don’t have any watermelons here.
