Anime Expo 2023: Everything You Need to Know

Anime Expo is the largest anime and manga convention in North America, held annually in Los Angeles, California. Here is everything you need to know about Anime Expo 2023:

Registration 

Registration for Anime Expo 2023 has been open since January 2023. Tickets for the event can be purchased on the official website. Anime Expo will ship 4-Day, 1-Day, Child, Artist Alley, Exhibitor and paid Industry credential, purchased between January 17, 2023 through 12:00 PM PT on June 12, 2023, within the United States (excluding minor outlying islands) and Canada. GA credential mailing will start in early May.

Dates and Location

Anime Expo 2023 will be held from July 1st to July 4th, 2023, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Programming

Anime Expo 2023 will feature over 1000 hours of programming, including panels, screenings, concerts, and autograph sessions. There will be world premieres of new anime and manga, as well as appearances by special guests, including voice actors and industry professionals.

Child Registration

Children ages 0-5 are free and not required to register for a credential. An optional RFID child wristband will be available to pick-up at the Registration Booth on Gilbert Lindsey Plaza. In cases of emergency, the wristbands will allow an SPJA/Anime Expo representative to contact parents/guardians as needed. Children ages 6-13 must purchase a Child badge (4-Day credential).

Attendees

Anime Expo 2023 is expected to have attendees from over 60 countries and over 400 exhibitors.The event is open to all ages, and attendees are encouraged to cosplay as their favorite anime and manga characters.
