The manga was about a Doyun, a pro-wrestler, who falls in love with a school girl. The story follows their relationship as it progresses from the beginning of high school to the end of college.

What are people saying about the manga?
The ending was worth it. Save our girl sourpatch kid. I’m not too sure what the author had in mind when she decided to end Act Like You Love Me in future, but I am glad that she did not disappoint. It is hard for me to articulate how much I loved this manga, but if you want a sense of how I felt read this essay about the manga.
I love the way Doyun’s line was phrased in the Korean version. In the latest Chapters, After the guy said “lies” (거짓말) he essentially says “the boyfriend that’s like a lie is right here” (거짓말같이 남친) which was so amusing. Because the meaning could double up as ‘the unbelievable/unreal BF is right here.”
Act Like You Love Me: Should You Read It?
I recommend reading Act Like You Love Me. It’s a manga worth reading. The manga is about a girl, Reiko, who is the daughter of a Yakuza boss. When her father dies she becomes the head of the gang, but she doesn’t want to do that. Instead, she wants to be an actor. She struggles with trying to decide what she wants to do while balancing her life as the head of her gang.
There are some other things happening in the manga that I don’t want to spoil for you! Trust me when I say you will like it.
