Netflix has released a deeply moving and long-anticipated documentary titled “Storm: The Life and Legacy of Chester Bennington”, chronicling the life, struggles, and unshakable legacy of the late Linkin Park frontman. The film, which premiered globally this week, is already being hailed as one of the most emotionally resonant music documentaries of the decade.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay, Storm takes an unflinching look at Chester’s rise from a troubled childhood in Arizona to becoming the voice of a generation — a voice that fused pain, passion, and power in a way few ever have. Fans and critics alike have flooded social media with emotional reactions. One viewer tweeted, “I haven’t cried this hard watching something since Bohemian Rhapsody. Chester’s story is heartbreaking and inspiring. This documentary is everything.”
Netflix announced that a portion of the streaming proceeds will go toward suicide prevention and mental health initiatives in honor of Chester’s legacy.
