P!nk Takes the Lead in Netflix’s Upcoming Drama Redemption Run — A Stirring Tale of Faith, Redemption, and Resilience…
Full Article:
Netflix has officially announced its newest original series, Redemption Run, with global music icon P!nk set to star in her first major dramatic television role. Premiering this fall, the series promises to be an emotionally charged journey exploring themes of faith, forgiveness, and the power of second chances.
Best known for her powerhouse vocals and boundary-pushing performances, P!nk (Alecia Moore) is stepping into a transformative role that marks a bold new chapter in her career. Redemption Run follows the story of Grace Callahan, a former street racer whose troubled past and broken relationships have left her at a spiritual and emotional crossroads. After a life-altering accident, Grace finds herself serving time in a faith-based rehabilitation program — one that offers her more than just freedom, but a shot at redemption.
Set against a gritty urban backdrop and grounded in raw, authentic storytelling, the series charts Grace’s battle to overcome inner demons while rebuilding trust with her estranged daughter, confronting those she hurt, and ultimately rediscovering her faith.
In a statement about the series, P!nk shared:
“This project moved me from the moment I read the script. Grace’s story is painful, beautiful, and deeply human. I’ve always believed in second chances, and this series is a powerful reminder of the grace we all need — and can offer each other.”
Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay and written by acclaimed screenwriter Mara Brock Akil (Girlfriends, Being Mary Jane), Redemption Run brings together a compelling creative team with a commitment to telling redemptive, character-driven stories. The series also stars Jeffrey Wright, Uzo Aduba, and rising star Imani Lewis as Grace’s daughter, Alana.
Executive producer Greg Berlanti described the show as “a cathartic ride through pain and possibility — one that’s anchored by P!nk’s riveting performance and a story that resonates across faiths, backgrounds, and experiences.”
With a soundtrack reportedly featuring original music from P!nk herself, Redemption Run blends the raw emotion of real-life struggles with the lyrical power of music and storytelling.
Premiere Date:
Redemption Run is set to premiere globally on October 18, 2025, exclusively on Netflix, with all eight episodes dropping simultaneously.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of P!nk or drawn to redemptive storytelling, Redemption Run promises to deliver a gripping, heartfelt experience that speaks to the strength of the human spirit.
