He said he’s going to cover the topic of devil fruits soon in a series.

According to Oda, a “certain professor” will explain the complex mechanisms behind all of the Devil Fruits in the series at some point in the future.
Now the question is, who will be that professor?
Maybe Vegapunk! He is considered the most intelligent doctor in the One Piece world. He was also working on artificial devil fruits, which means he has great knowledge about them.
